Impressive magic water show in Lima – Peru.
The city of Lima has transformed an old park into what is nowadays one of the top attractions in the city: the Magic Water Circuit (Circuito Mágico del Agua).
This was for us one of the hidden gems of the city. The circuit consists of 13 illuminated fountains providing a spectacular show choreographed with water shooting from the fountains, and which included folkloric and classical music.
We spent there a couple of hours enjoying each fountain as much as we could and we actually did not have enough time to see all of the fountains. It has as a matter of fact been awarded the world’s largest water fountain complex in a public park by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The main show takes place at Fuente de la Fantasía, with a magical choreographed show of water, lasers and music that will delight public of all ages. This show takes place thrice each night: 7:15 pm, 8:15 pm and 9:30 pm.
Try to get there early, in order to have enough time to enjoy the different fountains. We made it barely before the last one, but for us this was not enough time as it was the last show and then the lights were out.
If you have a SLR camera with you that day and would like to take plenty of photos from all angles and avoid it from getting wet, get a Professional Rain Cover for Large DSLR Cameras or you risk it getting your camera damaged.
I hope that you enjoyed these two short videos! I highly recommend you to include this attraction on your schedule.
How to get there:
After spending the day in Lima and taking a taxi that took us directly to the park. We arrived to the park entrance.
